Does anybody know if there is any ice left to climb in Waterton ? It's been pretty warm down there lately.

Firstly, sorry no pictures.
A small group of us were in Waterton 17, 18, 19-Feb. Climbed Quick & Dirty left side as a fountain was pouring out the RHS. Ice was great in the morning but soon became very sloppy in the hot sun. The ladies TR'd French Kiss and around noon a bar fridge sized chuck of ice bounced over their heads. After Q&D we snowshoe/wallowed to Experts Choice, Left is rotted but could still be climbed, Centre looked good, blue bottom to top, chandeliery bottom 1/3, consolidated top 2/3 probably WI 5-6 range. RHS is gone. Talked to a park official who said all of Q&D fell off last year in warm temps.

On 18 we decided to give Experts Choice a miss so hiked in to Lineham Cliff waterfalls. With a late start and 2.5 hours of poor snowshoeing we only got to a view point across the valley. We estimated we still an hour to the base so did not go further. Both climbs looked OK from across the valley, the left had a skinny section between the bottom and top parts. The Shining was fat and blue but has a serious avi slope below. The weekend weather conditions allowed us to cross a long section of avi prone slopes to our view point, snow depths in areas is +/-1m.

On 19th we TR'd the bottom 30m of Compound Gully Right, a snow cone in the warm partial sun conditions but nothing was falling off. Saw 2 parties on the 2/3 of the way up Right gully on 18th.
