Didn't notice the anchor but then again I was soloing right by it. Here's what I did see.
His: Bottom half is gone. Upper looks quite fat.
Hers: Still there but has thinned out.
It was a cool, cloudy day Friday so the bond on His & Hers was OK. I'd be much more critical if you're there with warmer temps or sun shining.
Grotto Falls: Nice and dry, good conditions. There were signs of some sun rot and/or water flow affecting the ice but more so on the second pitch and the lower angled right side. Left wall is well covered with ice and not sun rotted at all. In fact it may even be a wee bit brittle depending on conditions.
I wanted to check out the ice visible from the TransCanada so I walked up the drainage above the main falls to it. Mostly it was walking but a couple of short easy sections wait for those who make the trek. Nothing spectacular but if you're out for a wander it was OK. Not worth it if you start to post-hole.
