Greetings!

Was hoping to cruise up Hawk Mtn. on Monday, but was wondering about snow depth/stability (especially on the mtns in the Colin Range)?? If anyone could comment on the amount of snow on Hawk, that would be greatly appreciated as I can then decide whether to drive out or not. Thanks,

Jeez, I didn't look at hawk today and I'm not sure what route your taking. Generally, its REALLY dry for this time of year east of town and halk sees the sun so its probably good to go, especially for the scramble route that goes up the ridge.

Had a look from my parents house this am. There is still lots of snow up on Old Man, can see snow pockets on Colin. Generally it still looks a bit like winter. Hard to say how hawk would be, it is only march. It is certainly a lot drier a little bit more east so you could probably find a good plan B.
