Sunshine: Viewed from WW. The start of the climb looks to have fallen off and be bare rock. I don't know if it's possible to climb rock or bypass it as the upper part still looks fairly fat although I'd guess it to have a degree of sun rot given it exposure.

Wicked Wanda: First pitch is a big game of dot-to-dot. Lots of steps and hooking. Fairly easy and fun. The real fun is to be had on the second pitch though. Andriy had ideas about pulling through the roof but after some exploration decided on a different line that took him way up into a cave, left through a hole into another cave, then out onto the face on the left side of the climb. Different, interesting, fun.
Of course for those who prefer more conventional, there's always the left side which goes straight up, with decent pro, passing the exit from the vertical mining expedition.

The belay cave on the left side now has a very nice new belay. Bolts and chains have recently been added but the old manky pins and 1/4" bolt remain if you want to savour the memories. Thanks to whoever installed the new anchor.

Lastly, has anyone got a term for the big ice formations sticking out horizontally. Although they may start as mushrooms, the wind dries and shapes them so "mushroom" seems inappropriate. I've been referring to them as "diving boards" because of the long horizontal nature of them. Nice rest stances but disconcerting when you do step up onto them. Anyway there's a couple less "diving boards" on the second pitch now but no dives taken.

I tried to attach a pic of the second pitch but got an icap error message - sorry.

Right side of P2 was very wet and a large dagger was forming. The water made right side of P1 wet too.
Approach had deep snow but a new trail was broken.
