Braved the cold and climbed it yesterday. Is it ever dry? Bring the gore-tex for the 3rd and 4th pitches.

Good Job!

How and what approach did you use? Would like to do the route but thought the approach was easier earlier in the year. Let me know. Thnaks, Bob.

"what approach did you use?" Everybody uses the same approach as described in the guide book I thought. and of course walking in would be easier without any snow but thats what happens in the winter. some people rides bikes along the golf course road. the easy walk in takes a little over 1 hr. seems most places in the rockies take 1/2 hr to 1 hr easy walk

A bike ride would be challenging beyond the fork as the snow is a bit deep. You could bike to the fork without any difficulties. I would say 1.5 hours walk from the Spray River parking area or a little less with a bike ride halfway.

It took us 1hr 20 minutes to the base from the parking lot. We walked at a good pace with minimal rest.

Anyone been up PF lately? Or has it succumbed to this warm spring wind?

Was up there yesterday. Ice was quite brittle, but the route is very much still there.

Climbed it today. Dry lines on almost every pitch. If you lost a pair of gloves there recently see the lost gear post.
