Please be advised the Climbers Access Society of Alberta will be doing construction work in the North Ghost this upcoming weekend (Feb 6/7). Our work won't impede access since it is taking place past the GBU staging area, the final access point. However, we will be bringing in a backhoe on Saturday morning and it may slow traffic.

We are also looking for a few volunteers for the weekend. If you are interested and available please contact volunteers@climberaccess.ab.ca. If you have any questions, please contact chair@climbersaccess.ab.ca.

Looks like two different domain names Tim.
The Volunteer one has no s between "climber" and "access".... maybe the one with the s is correct? Not sure.
I'm also available Sunday if help is needed on that day.
Let us know alb!
Cheers
Jason

Yes it`s totally frustrating on my end too. Black background, and my keyboard started crapping on Wed!

In any case, thanks everyone for you interest in helping out. We only needed a couple of people, and they jumped in quick.

The good news is that we`ll need people in the summer when we have to do a site survey and remediation work. There will be a chance to help out.

All the best,
al

I saw a post in the Ghost forum that a bridge for installed on the weekend. Good job! We all appreciate the hard work!

I assume there is still trail work and signage that needs to go in before access is open. Does CASA have a timeline of when the project might be completed? Does it look like we'll have access this season?

Thanks again for all the hard work!

Jeremy,

See above reply to post – We are really reluctant to put a date on this but know that we are expecting access prior to the March 31 annual closing date
